The tag goes like this:
1. Go to your photos and select the 4th folder.
2. Select the 4th photo.
3. Post it. No editing, cropping etc. and then give a description.
4. Tag 4 more people.
So here is my 4th photo from my 4th folder. With no editing. This is a picture of Hannah when she got to ride on a long horn. The two guys in the picture are the owner of the long horn and his son. And I know Carol Anne is thanking her lucky stars that I wasn't tagged to post my 13th photo in the 4th folder!! Haha!
I think I will tag:
She loved seeing and talking to the clowns. They were letting people ride the elephants, but I saw a show called "When Wild Animals Attack" one time so I wouldn't let her ride them...not to mention it was $10 a person. When I gave the excuse that that was a very expensive ride, one of the ladies that was with us said, "just let her ride by herself." Uhm...I don't think so! Seriously...are you kidding me?? If that elephant gets mad decides to take off running, my baby is NOT going to be on that elephant by herself. Anyway, I'm not getting on that elephant and I'm certainly not going to put my child on it.
I'll probably have bad dreams tonight!
Well... belated!! Just wanted to put up a few of the pictures from New Year's. Sorry they are sooo late. I've also gotten Hannah's picture made and need to get some of those up on here. I'll get around to it eventually!! So anyway, Happy New Year!
Here is Hannah doing a sparkler...really the only fireworks she was willing to participate in other than watching. And you can tell that she is half excited and half scared. That's o.k. with me. It's good to have a healthy fear of some things. Fire being one of those things!
This is how she spent a lot of the evening. All cuddled up. It was really cold.
This is also how she spent a lot of time that night. Maybe we should invest in ear muffs next year!
Every year we have to go in and wake Hannah...this year was no different. We actually had a hard time getting her to get up. I went in several times before the successful try and she wouldn't budge. But when she finally realized what I was telling her, she was off!
Here she is as she opened her big present. Santa brought Hannah a swing set this year. She had unwrapped the box and was sticking her hand down through one of the holes in the box trying to figure out what was in the big box. I don't know how Santa and Mrs. Claus managed to get that big thing into the house without Hannah getting up. Metal poles that are rolling around in a box make a lot of noise you know! Gives a whole new meaning to "there arose such a clatter!" It was worth it though because Hannah was definitely surprised. She loves her new swing set and we only had to buy a few extra nuts and bolts to finish putting it together. And...we didn't have to make a trip to the emergency room for stitches on anyone!! Yet...I should say!!
Proof positive that the boxes are more fun than the actual gift! Hannah loved....I mean loves her new swing set box. If Santa had only known!! Actually I think she might love the swing set a little more than the box, but she did cry at the thought of throwing the box away!
These last two were taken Christmas Eve. This one after church and the last one before church. I think overall Hannah made out pretty well on Christmas. She loved all of the things she got and I loved every minute of watching her open gifts and play. This picture really shows how big she has gotten. It wont be long before she is as tall as I am...and pretty soon after that she will be taller!! It happens way too fast!
I think this is my new favorite picture!
After lunch today Hannah came into the room with a clip board, paper and a pen and asked me what I would like to order. I thought that she was talking about a meal and told her that I would like chicken fried steak. "No, what do you want to order online," she said. She then told me that I was going to order some kind of furniture. So I requested a dining room table with 8 chairs. A few minutes later she asked me if I would like to order a baby online too. "A baby doll," I asked. "No a real baby!" To which I said, "you can't order real babies online!" She informed me that today you could order a baby online. And the rest of the conversation went like this:
H - "So what color would you like it's skin to be?"
Me - "Our color, please."
H - "O.k., with freckles?"
Me - "Absolutely."
H - "What would you like it's name to be?"
Me - "Joshua"
H - "Uhm, no we don't have any Joshua's how about Lola...would you like a girl?"
Me - "Sure, girls are great."
H - "O.k. we were out of dining room tables so you got this couch and the bill is $10, and for the baby you have to give me $1."
As I pay up, I'm thinking we really need to talk about how some things have more value than others and the value of some things cannot be measured!
