I will be glad when Hannah gets over this cold/allergy/asthma thing she's had lately. We went to the doctor this afternoon and got a ton of medicine for her and as I sit here typing this, I can hear her coughing in the bedroom! Lovely! And for some reason Hannah has been going through, what I hope is, a phase lately. The kind of phase where she tests me to see how far she can push me. She does this every once and a while then settles down for a month or so and tries again! That is bad enough in and of itself, but couple that with breathing treatments that wire her and being cooped up in the house for 4 days and you have a very unpleasant child. I feel bad disciplining her when she is sick because I feel sorry for her (I think she might be clued in on this), but if I don't she is going to be a terror for weeks even after she gets well! I got about 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night and I dozed for 30 or so minutes while Hannah took a nap late this afternoon, but I am pooped! So I should be in bed right now...in fact, I think I'll go now! Hopefully I can manage to get a few pictures to post tomorrow. I haven't taken any the last few days because she has looked pretty pitiful with dark circles around her eyes, but maybe tomorrow the antibiotics will have started to kick in and I can get a few.

Gonna Get Cold Here!
And I am oh so excited. They said it was supposed to get into the 30's here in the next day or so!!! I can't wait! We went to Walmart tonight and I bought Hannah some gloves. They are sooo cute and tiny!! She was walking around shaking our hands with them on tonight and she wanted to sleep in them! Funny girl! I got me some too...I think I might sleep in them too!
Hannah is still pretty croopy (I have no idea how to spell that and I don't care!). I do not like it when she is so yucky sick. No fever, just coughing and stuffy nose and she sounds terrible when she talks. She'll be talking and talking and all of the sudden she says, "I sound funny!" We didn't even set one foot outside today until we went to dinner tonight. Boring!!! So after dinner My mom, Leigh Anne and Hannah came home and Joey and I went to Walmart...for entertainment!

Looking Forward To The Rodeo Again!
Some of you may remember when we took Hannah to Houston's Rodeo last year. Some friends of ours invited us to go with them to see George Strait and Hannah had a great time. It was hard though, for her to sit in the seat the whole time. We spent a lot of time walking up the stairs and going out to the snack bar area. I think she actually got more of a kick out of the peanuts, popcorn and the little light up princess wand she got than the concert. She did enjoy watching the animals during the calf scramble and the fireworks at various parts of the show! It was funny because when I told Hannah that we were going to take her to the rodeo she kept asking, "when we dowin' to da radio?" Our seats were about halfway up in the arena, but we could see great, hopefully we can get great Houston Rodeo concert tickets
this year too so that we can take her back. We may even try to make the carnival and livestock show this time...that is barring any major allergies or asthma junk.
When we went last year she had been on a Toy Story kick and I had to search high and low to find a Woody doll that she could take with her to the rodeo. We found one at the mall and she was so excited...it was out of the box before we left the mall. Woody is a "towboy" after all and what better place for a cowboy than the rodeo. She was so cute in her cowgirl boots (which sadly don't fit anymore) and denim, draggin' that Woody doll along beside her. People would see her walk by and just oh and aww! I love it when they do that! Now I have said all along that I'm not a huge fan of the western look but, she was awfully cute in her boots so I'm sure we'll be getting new ones soon. I also remember it was hilarious to watch her try to run in them with her skirt constantly falling down. It's so hard for me to find clothes that fit her right in the waist so she is constantly pulling her drawers up! She would run a little...which is funny in and of itself in her boots but, then she would stop and pull her skirt up with all her might, take off running again only to stop a few steps ahead to pull 'em up again!

...busy busy busy!! And it doesn't seem like I've gotten much accomplished. We got the tree out, but it's not decorated yet. I'm hoping in the next day or so we can do that and I'll definitely take some pictures. Hannah keeps running up to the tree when the lights are on and hugging it. I think she really likes having it up. She was dancing and singing when Joey was pulling it out of the box and putting it together. And as we drive through the neighborhood she loves looking at the lights that are out.
We have been cleaning like crazy the last few days...I don't know what brought this on, but we seem to have stirred up dust and junk because last night Hannah started coughing and sounding kinda wheezy. So I started her on her breathing treatments again. Other than that, nothing new to report. So I guess I'll post more when there's more to post!!

Here is one of the latest pictures from Hannah playing with make-up with me and Maw Maw! I don't have time to crop it so it's a little off center and you can see our mess in the background! Oh well! We made a huge mess with the make up and we all had glitter on our faces for a day or two. That stuff is hard to wash off!!
The other day we stopped by the pastor's house to pick something up and Hannah went in to say hi to Bro. Mark and Lynn. When they came back out to the car, Lynn told me that she told Hannah they were going to have a turkey on Thanksgiving and Hannah responds, "I'm having a pig!" Later on the way home she informed us that we were having a horse for lunch too!! Yikes!!
We are off to Mimi's for lunch! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Hannah was playing with her doll (that was supposed to be her Christmas present) this morning. It's one of those interactive baby alive dolls that will talk to you and eat, drink and wet her diaper among other things!! Sometimes the doll will cry and say "momma!" At the time I was busy cleaning our mess from breakfast when I heard the doll repeatedly say, "whah, momma, whah whah whah!" It was getting annoying, but when I looked over I saw what the doll was crying about!!! Hannah had crammed playdough in her eyes!!! She completely covered both of the doll's eyes with blue playdough and was working on putting more on her when I said, "well, Hannah, no wonder your baby is crying. She doesn't like playdough in her eyes!" Now I'm sure that the doll was just crying because that was the part of the cycle she was on of the things she says while you're playing with her. I thought it was funny though that she happened to be crying after Hannah put playdough in her eyes! Of course I couldn't help the doll out until I got a picture of her with playdough in her eyes! By the time I snapped this shot, the doll was already saying, "I love you, Mommy!" again. Later tonight Hannah told me that her baby was hungry again...for rocks!!! Playdough rocks!
No wonder God hasn't given her a real baby!!!! Haha...I'm only kidding!

Coupons, Coupons, Coupons
...but this really is something that I like. I found a website that offers coupon codes
. Now I don't normally use coupons, but these I might actually use. They have coupons for restaraunts, stores like TARGET.COM COUPONS
and BestBuy.com deals
. All places that I would shop at or go to on a regular basis! All I have to do is go to CouponChief's
website and print them off or get the coupon code when I decide that I'm going to one of those places. So, so simple!!

Until I was 16...
...and driving, I didn't really pay that much attention to street names and how to get from point A to point B. That is why what Hannah did the other night completely baffles me. It was pretty late in evening (for dinner anyway) and we had just gotten home from a long day and hadn't had a chance to catch dinner yet. So we decided that we would run to Wendy's and just grab some chicken sandwiches and be done with it. Joey and I jumped in the car with Hannah and headed out. I decided that I would let Joey drop me off at the store to pick up a few things that I needed to take to church the next day while he and Hannah drove thru at Wendy's which is in the same parking lot. As we pulled into the lot, Hannah hollers out, "there it is, I see it, I see Wendy's!" Not surprising as we have been to Wendy's plenty of times and she generally recognizes places that she enjoys going like church, McDonalds, Chik-fil-a, even some people's houses. But, what she said next is what floored me..."there it is, turn dat way, tward de Beltway!" She actually knew the name of the street that ran alongside Wendy's! That is why I think my 3 year old is smart. I know it's not just in my head and I don't think that just because she's mine...she really is smart!

I Love PayPerPost!
...and this is why. Unlike most ways that you advertise on blogs you only get paid based on how many times your readers click on a particular button. PayPerPost is great because I know that I'm going to get $10 for typing this post...whether you click on it or not. Blog advertising
is so simple this way and in 30 days I'll get my money. So far I've made $24 and I really haven't done much for that. This post will bring me to $34. Another great thing about PayPerPost
is that I get to pick and choose what I write about. If I don't agree with a particular product or service being advertised...I simply don't take that opportunity and right now I have 33 opportunities to choose from. With the other ad service I tried, they chose what they wanted to put on my blog and I didn't like that...plus I never made ANY money. Now $34 may not seem like a lot, but it's $34 in my pocket that I wouldn't have had...all for just a few minutes. I started typing this at 12:27 PM and it's now 12:32 PM. That means I'm making $120 an hour. Who can beat that???? As Hannah would say, "Rock on, dude!"

Adventures In Daddyhood!!
Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE staying home with Hannah? Well, I do. I am thrilled that I don't have to work and am able to spend everyday with her. I love the fact that I get to watch her grow and teach her things. I am happy that someone else isn't doing that while I go to work. I LOVE staying home with Hannah. And after Joey's adventures the other day, I think he is just as thrilled as I am that I am available to stay with Hannah and that responsibility isn't left to him very often.
The other night I stayed up until 8:30 in the morning working on a video for a friend...not because I had to, but because I wanted to. It was quiet and I didn't have to get up every five minutes and take Hannah to the potty or fix her a drink or whatever! I was able to get a lot accomplished on my project. But...staying up until 8:30 AM didn't make for the best situation the next day when I was dog tired, in desperate need of a little shut eye and Hannah was rip rarin' and ready to go! So at 8:30 AM I went to bed...and I slept until 3:00 PM! What did I do with Hannah? I hadn't planned on staying up all night so I hadn't arranged for a babysitter (both grandmas were at work anyway). She doesn't go to mother's day out or daycare so that option was out, but she had to be supervised while I slept. That's where Joey came in handy that day. My dear husband graciously watched Hannah while I got a little rest. Now Hannah doesn't normally get up until 10:30 or so, so he only had to watch her for about 4 1/2 hours. In that four and a half hours the man managed to burn macaroni & cheese, completely melt my deep fryer (to the point of having to throw the entire thing away) and burn his fingers. The mac & cheese isn't completely his fault though, as Hannah insisted that she should pour it into the water herself and missed the pot entirely. So after that he moved the pot to the other side of the stove and turned on the wrong burner...the one that my fryer was on top of, thus melting the fryer. Then as he was throwing the fryer away he burned his fingers on the hot, melted plastic. All in attempt to make Hannah some macaroni & cheese without disturbing me! And I loved that little fryer as my hips and thighs will attest, but I couldn't possibly be mad at him. After all he just wanted me to be able to get some rest!

Collin Crossed The Line
For some reason every time Hannah goes to a play area she finds one friend and plays the entire time with that child. Running along side, chasing, hiding from and seeking them during their brief, but energetic play time. This was true again last night when we went to the mall play area with Mimi. Hannah found a friend named Collin. He was a cute little boy. He even had a little football that he and Hannah managed to SHARE! They threw the ball back and forth and chased each other for a good 45 minutes. Only one or two "incidents" of not wanting to share! His mother laughed and commented that there were all boys in the play area and Hannah chose the one (her son) with his underwear hanging out of the top of his pants to play with and chase. Guess she was considering how sweet he was instead of what he looked like! And he was sweet...even I thought so...until we got ready to leave that is. I told Hannah that it was time to go and that she needed to go tell Collin bye-bye! Which she did...then he came running up to her grabbed her shoulders and said, "I I I want to I want to give you a kiss!" Hannah just stood there, jaw dropped and let him kiss her. Right smack in the mouth! Hannah! Have we taught you NOTHING?
....NO BOYS, BOYS ARE YUCKY!!!!!

Now This Job Sounds Fun
Hannah has a new word that she loves to use! DORK! She'll get out of the tub and dry her hair with the towel and say, "do I look like a dork?" I don't know where she gets these things, but I'm quite sure that when she's a teenager she would feel like a dork if her mom had this job...voice overs.
Call me dorky if you'd like, but I think this would be fun. I'm quite sure I wouldn't make much money doing it and I would probably laugh every time they hit record, but I think I would have a blast.
...just did blogger's spell check...the word "DORK" isn't in their spell check!! That just strikes me funny!

A Picture Would Be Totally Inappropriate!!
A little insight as to where my daughter will probably get her sense of humor...sadly!
This morning I was wondering what the temperature was like outside. So I stepped out onto the front porch with Hannah following right in tow. It is pretty warm and about the time we turned to come back in Joey appeared at the door and promptly shut the door and locked us out. Then he proceeds to turn around and begin to moon us. Yes, my minister husband mooned me and my daughter through the glass on the front door.
Hannah's response, "hee, eeeewwiiee!"

Jesus Loves Me!
Pardon the bed head...Hannah woke up this morning and decided to give a little concert. And I couldn't pass up the opportunity to video tape her just because her hair was out of place!!! Enjoy!

Rollin' In The Dough
...well not yet exactly, but hopefully I'll be rollin' in some dough soon though. So my cousin has started doing this PayPerPost
thing where she gets paid to blog. She's been doing for a while now and I thought I would give it a try. Does this mean that all of Hannah's blog is going to turn into a big advertising thing...no. I still want to blog mainly to keep a journal of the things she does, but if I make a little money doing it, how great is that??? ...And hopefully I will be able to fund a little Christmas shopping with the proceeds!! So here's to Pay Per Post and thanks Queen Bee...if I make a million or so maybe you'll get a little Christmas present too!!! If I only make a few $$ that's o.k. I'll still get your kiddos something for Christmas anyway!!

O.k. so it's been a few days since i posted last...maybe a week. Not too much going on here, just been busy going here and there, there and here. We are all finishing up getting over the sniffles and coughs. Hannah must be going through a phase...a testing phase. You know the kind where she tests me to see if I actually know what I'm doing in this parenting thing! All I know is that I'd better get a handle on this sassy mess she's started or I'm going to be sorry when she turnes 12 or 13. Last night I told her to stop doing something...I can't even remember what....but she kept telling me why she should be able to do whatever she was doing. It ended with me making her sit in her rocker and she couldn't say ANYTHING for 2 minutes. She'd say, "but." And I'd say, "Shhhh, I don't want you to say anything!" "BUT," Again I said, "Shhhhh!" This went on for about 45 seconds of the 2 minutes. I finally told her not to open her mouth until the microwave went off. It was like she was determined to have the last word because as soon as I told her she could get up she reminded me of why she should do what she was doing. And it isn't just what she says. It doesn't do the whole scene justice for me to sit here and type out what all was said. It has a lot to do with how she says what she says!! And sometimes she even shakes her little finger at me!! Where does that
