That's What You Need, Mommy!
Hannah and I had a lazy day yesterday. We slept in and didn't get dressed until 5 PM!! Love those days! We watched t.v. almost all day long. Every time a commercial would come on Hannah would tell me, "that's what you need, Mommy!" So apparently I need some hoodia diet pill, a new swiffer that has a vacuum on it, I need to take Zyrtec allergy pills and I should use Pantene shampoo and conditioner. Among other things!

Some Recent Pictures
Here are some recent pictures of Hannah from when we had a day at the park. The park we found has a huge jungle gym thing and every time we had passed it in the car Hannah wanted to go there. We finally had a free afternoon and all three went and spent about two hours there. Hannah had fun, but it was oh so windy that day. Anyway...here are the pics. Enjoy.

That went over like a lead balloon!
We have since recovered from the nini situation, but I must say that the morning after was not fun. As soon as Hannah fell asleep that night I took the nini and put it in a new secret place. I will eventually retrieve it and throw it away so that it isn't found again, but for now I didn't want to have to tell her that I had thrown it away and I'm not real comfortable about lying to her...I'm a horrible liar anyway. But the next morning Hannah woke up at 7:00 (never happens)! The first thing she said was, "where is my nini?" After watching her rifle through the covers for about 5 minutes I told her that I had put it away. Her response...and I quote, "whaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I want my nini!! WHAAAAAAAAA!" This went on all morning. She fell back asleep for about an hour at 10 ish, but when she woke back up it started all over. It probably wasn't until about mid to late afternoon that she recovered. Never again will that happen. If we ever have another baby in this house, who knows what we'll do. The next poor baby may not have a nini because if we give it one, then Hannah will likely steal it!
We haven't been up to much else lately. Hannah has been swimming in her new pool some, but it is still pretty chilly so her dips never last more than 20 minutes or so. Eventually I'll catch some pictures of her playing in the water and post them. Oh and we did plant some tomato and strawberry plants. And Hannah held her very first roly poly bug. I was surprised that she actually let it crawl on her. So far the plants are looking good. I even saw a bloom on one of the tomato plants. Everyone keeps telling me that the strawberries wont do well. We haven't had any blooms or strawberries yet except for the ones that were on there when we bought the plants, but the plants are getting bigger. We'll see. They were only 80 cents each so I'm not too worried if they don't bloom. That's about all we've been doing lately. Maybe life will get more exciting when it warms up a little more. Now I'm off to do laundry and clean house. Fun fun!!

This Is Bad!
I was watching American Idol tonight when Hannah came into my room with a nini in her mouth. She had climbed up into the pantry and found it. I had just thrown it up there one day when I was unpacking boxes and came across it. I hid it up there because she was in the room with me and I didn't want her to see me with it. The quickest way to get rid of it was to chunk it up into the pantry. Don't ask me why I didn't just throw it away. It had been long since forgotten...until tonight when Hannah climbed up there. I asked her what she was doing up in the top of the pantry and she said, "I was looking for candy, but I found this instead!" So I asked her which she would rather have, candy or a nini and her answer...a nini! Then she said that she was going to look again to see if she could find a green one. The kind that she LOVED! I didn't see any point in making the rest of the evening miserable for us so I'm figuring that I'll take it and get rid of it when she goes to sleep. Although tomorrow when she thinks of it I may have a problem because she also told me that when I hid it again, tomorrow she was going to go look for it. Great! Now she's in there on the phone with Maw Maw asking her if she has any green ninis and telling her that she'll have to give them to her when she gets to her house.
I'm going to hold out for her forgetting about them while she sleeps...maybe I can convince her that she must have been dreaming!!
